Description In line washable inline mesh strainer with 1″ male ports. Perfect as a first stage sediment filter for water tanks and caravans. UV-resistant plastic housing contains a fine mesh strainer rated to 130 microns. This captures larger chunks of sediment including sand, silt, dirt, leaves and decaying organic matter. It comes with a 1/2″ BSP bung in the top of the unit. This bung can be removed to quickly flush sediment out of the mesh filter. Makes for fast/easy cleaning. Please note: A hole will need to be drilled to allow water through. A 1/2″ inline tap can also be installed, which makes this process even faster.
